• Make a hat following any of the Basic hat patterns. Ear (Make 2) Row 1: With White, ch 2, 13 sc in second ch from hook: 3 sc.
• Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc: 5 sc.

Edging: Sc evenly around ear; finish off leav­ ing a length of yarn for sewing. Eye (Make 2): With Black, ch 2, work 6 sc in second ch from hook; join with slip st to first sc, finish off leaving a length of yarn for sewing.

Nose: With Pink, ch 5, YO, insert hook in fourth ch from hook and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook, YO, insert hook in last ch and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook; finish off leaving a length of yarn for sewing.

Sew Ears, eyes and nose to hat and embroider mouth.
